We are thrilled to announce that International School Basel Senior School student, Indraneel Mahendrakumar, has been chosen as one of 25 winners in the New York Times 10th Annual Spring Poetry Contest, for which they had just over 2,500 submissions! Originally from India, Indraneel moved to Basel from Mumbai only 4 months ago. He has always been an avid reader and for a recent assignment in a poetry unit in Ms. Triggs' English class, he submitted a poem to the contest.
